Does Link in Subscription Point to Live or Snapshot?

This should be an easy one...

You get an email that contains a link to a report. The email was sent automatically as part of a subscription.

Does that link point to a snapshot that was taken when the report was run, or does clicking the link cause the report to re-run altogether?

Hello Dan,

The link will always point to the current report. For instance, if you have an email subscription that goes out at 6am daily, and today at 8am, you open the report from the link in today's and yesterday's email, they both will take you to the most current report.

As for if it will be re-run, that depends on how you have the execution on the report setup. Whether it is 'Always run this report with the most recent data' or 'Render this report from a report execution snapshot' will determine this.

subscription. Running the service as a domain account and made the account a

Does anyone know that where have the most mssql extended procedures for download?

I have a extended procedure for sending email by smtp already.

Are there anywheres can be downloaded the rest?
e.g. copy, move, detect, and delete some files and directories in harddisk
access Active directories
read and write .ini files
etc......I suggest you search 'Books Online', the help files for MS Sql Server.|||I just know C# & VB only, and i don't know C/C++.

Document Management Systems

I have a client that would like to archive all of the documents .word, .xls, .pdf, .jpg, email coorespondance, etc. into some sort of database so in the near future when the project starts up again all of the information is in a clear consise format. I was hoping that this forum could provide some guidance in selecting a software package and a discussion on how to proceed.

I have 6 gigs of documents in a folder on our server.
I was planning on delivering the organized data on a external hard drive after putting the data into some sort of database.
I would like to include metadata about each particular document.
like
who created the document,
Key words about the document's purpose,
time frame the document is revelant for,
and so on.

I would like to use a database structure and possibly hot link the document to the DB.
I would like to use xml (if possible) for the metadata.
